Intra-Articular Laser

shoulder laser treatment

Intra-Articular

Insert the fiber optic light guide (Weberneedle® Lasercath) directly into the joint via an interstitial needle. Easily and efficiently treats damaged structures (e.g. nerves, cartilage and bones) for many degenerative joint diseases such as:

  • Knee osteoarthritis
  • Hip arthrosis
  • Chronic shoulder syndromes
  • Ankle arthrosis

Because the laser reaches penetration depths of up to 12 cm, it achieves significantly better therapeutic results than the external application. In addition, the green, blue and yellow lasers (particularly for anti-inflammatory effects) may be applied to deep tissue, which is not possible with external therapy.

Interstitial Laser

Interstitial

Interstitial treatment of a herniated disc with the Weberneedle® Endo Laser

Areas of application

  • Chronic spinal disorders
  • Herniated discs
  • Scar pain after intervertebral disc surgery
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Nerve lesions
  • Deep tendinitis and strains

Regenerative Medicine

Optimize the effects by combining with other therapies such as PRP (Platelet-rich plasma or hyaluronic acid). A single puncture is all that is needed since the same cannula can be used for injection and radiation.
